Native Land Promotion Co.
Environmental Policy
As a business:
- Our chemistry to clean our screens is biodegradable and non-toxic, made from soybeans.
- We aim to transition to water-based inks as we find a suitable product, hopefully in 2009.
- We want to respect the limitations of the world's resources. We will soon be offering a unique option to pair reclaimed garments with a design of your choice.
- We recycle paper, and make most of our shipping with the USPS which has received awards for its use of recycled packaging.
- We operate on purchased wind-power energy.
- Our webhost is a woman-owned company whose employees conserve resources by working from home.
- We purchase 100% post-consumer paper for use in our office.
As citizens:
- Recycle paper with a local school; cans/bottles/jars with the municipal program; take our own grocery bags most of the time.
- We walk or ride our bikes to local errands some of the time, and drive a 30mpg car at other times.
- We do not use harsh laundry detergents.
- We conserve our use of water, and compost and garden organically.
If you think that's good, thanks. It took time to build up and we're still working at it.
